The T-Bird Club is a social gathering for (male to female) Cross Dressers, Transgender, Transsexual and Intersex who identify as Female-form all or part of the time. The T-Bird Club is open to all ages 18+, sexualities and phases of transition, from Clandestine (at home only) Cross-Dresser to Post-op.
The T-Bird Club provides a safe and private environment for Gyrls to network, socialise, be informed, be entertained and most of all enjoy the experience of being in your own Lounge-Bar-Club-Gallery-Space.
ABODE Level One plays host to The T-Bird Club on the 1st Friday of each month. Door will open at 9pm. We ask that all Gyrls arrive by 9:30pm so as to maximise the T-Bird Club journey. Each Gyrl can be accompanied by their partner, a known personal/social friend, or regular admirer.

NTI is designed as an intimate space for ABODE members and their personally invited guests (guests must arrive with the members who invited them to gain entry).
We look to invoke the principal ‘Entice me, don’t just f@ck me’, so as to create a subtle environment for people to relax or party, make new friends or meet old one’s where the emphasis is as much on the people as the play.

20th March |  | Exhibition Opening - 'OVER EXPOSURE' by artist SANDRINE (Souf) DURAND @ ABODE Gallery (Melb)
French born artist Sandrine has been painting since the age of ten when she was given her first set of oil paints. The last 5 years has seen Sandrine take a more serious approach to her art and exhibiting her work to the public. She has sold over 100 paintings that capture strong sensual women, industrial landscapes and fantastical jungles.
Her technique is a combination of the Old Master’s and mixed media while using contemporary subjects and themes. Some paintings can take up to one year to complete, and as they dry over time, the paintings themselves take on a life of their own accord, becoming more vibrant and luminous.
Her work is young, fresh and progressive. Inspired by the relationship between herself and the world, the relationship between the canvas and the paint and the relationship between the original inceptions to its final culmination, this body of work “Over Exposure” encapsulates her desires and visual dreams.
