The T-Bird Club is a social gathering for (male to female) Cross Dressers, Transgender, Transsexual and Intersex who identify as Female-form all or part of the time. The T-Bird Club is open to all ages 18+, sexualities and phases of transition, from Clandestine (at home only) Cross-Dresser to Post-op.
The T-Bird Club provides a safe and private environment for Gyrls to network, socialise, be informed, be entertained and most of all enjoy the experience of being in your own Lounge-Bar-Club-Gallery-Space.
ABODE Level One plays host to The T-Bird Club on the 1st Friday of each month. Door will open at 9:00pm. We ask that all Gyrls arrive by 9:30pm so as to maximise the T-Bird Club journey. Each Gyrl can be accompanied by their partner, a known personal/social friend, or regular admirer.
This month's special guest: Snr Constable Gabrielle Tyacke from the Victoria Police Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit who will be giving a prsentation of the workings of the unit and how VicPol can assist our community. This is a good time to ask any questions or forward them to us and we will ask on your behalf.

Melbourne’s home of alternative, underground culture… ABODE, are seeking a fresh talented DJ to take up residency at the new Underground EDM event BASS ODYSSEY (launching March 2010).
To find this talented DJ, ABODE are holding a dj competition "UDJ 2010" which will run through February.
Qualifying DJ’s will be playing Techno, Tech House, Tribal, Prog, Minimal or a hybrid of these alongside resident Syme Tollens and invited guest SmuDJ.
This weeks UDJ 2010 qualifying DJ's are - Samari & Miss Dusk.

Competition Final Heat...
Melbourne’s home of alternative, underground culture… ABODE, are seeking a fresh talented DJ to take up residency at the new Underground EDM event BASS ODYSSEY (launching March 2010).
This Sunday is the last round heat of the UDJ 2010 Summer Sessions comp where we will see the last 3 qualifiers play off.
Qualifying DJ’s (Tom Hartlett - Johan Elg - Cale Linton) will be playing Techno, Tech House, Tribal, Prog, Minimal or a hybrid of these alongside resident Syme Tollens and invited guest Jon Montes.
At the end of the sets, the judges will confer and review all 13 qualifiers and the finalist will be announced before the end of the day.
